Quality Standards & Certifications

QUALITY ASSURANCE - Central Welding and Iron Works Group maintains a quality program which has been audited, found to be effective, and registered by Quasar. Our adherence to known international and national quality system standards, provides one of the strongest assurances of product quality available.

WELDING - Contractually we adhere to the CISC Code of Standard practice, which is part of CSA Standard S16. All welding is performed in conformance to CSA standard W47.1 (where we are registered in Division 1), AWS D1.1 and 5 or in accordance with the requirements of ASME, depending on customer requirements.

If required, pressure vessels and piping can be fabricated to meet the ASME code.

In addition, Central Welding and Iron Works Group still maintains the procedures required to satisfy Z299.3.

TESTING AND INSPECTION - To ensure that our products are built in accordance with the standard specified by the client, we generate a complete quality plan for each job. This plan documents every step in the production and inspection process.
